Unmanned Aircraft Search and Detect
Rescue scenario with UAS: the UAVs fly over an area the victim is believed to be located, gather information on its potential location, and transmit it back to a remotely located rescue team.
SAR Operations (search and rescue) or (search and detect)
In search and rescue operations every second counts. In order to function as efficiently as possible, it is important to be able to obtain a rapid overview of the situation … the type of view that is often only possible from the sky.
While planes and helicopters require some time to be ready for deployment, a microdrone UAS can be put launched quickly, with minimal delay. Drones are now used by police and firefighters wherever necessary to quickly and easily receive an aerial overview of a situation, helping those responsible make informed decisions and to better coordinate their recovery assets.
